 gosh i love this man...

he is always so chipper... singing a tune (the wrong words of course) at the top of his lungs, laughing and teasing and being goofy, no wonder his 4th graders love him so much... not as much as i do though!

 i don't think you guys realise how much Cory loves the attention he gets from these crazy posts.... 

i didn't even realise until the last sleeping post when no one commented  :(  he doesn't care if there are no comments about our adorable children, he just feels that if i am going to embarrass him that he should get a little recognition for it....

 i don't know about you guys,  but i would miss these posts... sure, i would still get to see the "live" version of his sleeping antics, but the fun is in the sharing...

you would think that he does it on purpose, knowing that i will photograph the evidence but i swear, he doesn't actually think he is going to fall asleep, it just happens so fast!

if you want these posts to keep coming you better say so because i fear this may be the last one if he thinks no one cares...

(please care, because this is one of my ultimate favorite things to do)

i moved this child twice and she STILL ended up like this!

we grew carrots.. sort of

looks like our poor little carrot didn't get enough water... or something... who knows?! so its just a tiny thing... but it tastes just like a carrot! ok.. that sounds obvious but its always surprising when you grow something and it tastes like its supposed to!

Cheerleading....

cheerleading has been...
an adventure...
our first game it was pouring rain... i hate cold and wet....
the little girls were soaked after 6 cheers so we sent them home
last sat it was freezing... i mean FREEZING...
the girls were shaking, Eva started crying... i wanted to cry

but don't they look cute in their uniforms!

i am a terrible coach, i don't know the first thing about  cheerleading, Coach Deb is totally awesome so i just lead the warm up... she does the rest.... bless her heart!

maybe if i wasn't such a wimpy complainer i could learn how to coach and Eva would become a professional cheerleader and... who am i kidding, she's a wimpy complainer too!

special treasures...

i had the chance to go to Southern CA to perform with the Michigan Concert Choir at the end of Aug. it was super fun, but the best part was visiting Family... especially my GRAMMY!!!!!

she is the best... it was so fun spending time with her!

she sent me home with all kinds of special treasures for the girls...

this is not a jewelry box.... it a barbie dresser

what girl doesn't love a fancy clip on!

 for christmas Grammy sent me my favorite treasure that i used to love to play with when i was a little girl, turns out Cora loves it as much as i did...

 she is so gentle with every thing... and so fascinated, just like i was.

she loves to open every little box and see whats inside...tiny little spools of thread... buttons... so much fun.

we love you grammy!!!!
