 those toes do not look like Eva or Cora's...

oh! its my big honkin husband snuggling with a couple of kitties, resting his head on a pillow pet, warm and toasty under a fluffy pink blanket...

just another sunday afternoon nap...

long overdue...

i am still not sure why he was wearing my beads in the first place... but they really go well with the fuzzy pink heart blankey... don't you think?

and boy did Eva make that bed!

Cora on the other hand... well she's just Cora, She wouldn't be herself without completely ignoring me

honestly though, i am lucky the room looks this good considering they sleep like this

The anatomy of a sleeping picture

i don't really even think "anatomy" is the right word... i just think i may have figured out how Cory gets himself in these "predicaments" 

he is sort of curious by nature and has a strange fascination with balancing things (or body parts)

the sleeping is NEVER intentional

for example;

 the other day we were coloring and Cory wondered if he could balance his head on a box of crayons... so he did... and then he got sleepy

 he didn't actually fall asleep completely but his eyes were closed and he was thinking about it

Christmas Morning...

 THIS was actually Christmas eve... somebody slept the entire time while SOMEBODY else wrapped until the wee hours of the morning...

 so, Eva had to pee at about 5:45 am and when she got up noticed Santa AND the Tooth Fairy had been to our house and just had to wake her sissy and then mom and dad to share the exciting news... we were so happy about this news at 5:45...

 their sleepy faces are the greatest...

 i love the back of Cora's hair...

 Daddy was in charge of assembly...

 i made them these jammies and had them open them Christmas eve i explain how over at Sisters4saymoreismore

as you can see they didn't have any fun at all in these jammies...

when Cora tried hers on for the first time she goes "MOM! i am so HOT!" and i was like no you are not, you just put those on! and she says... "No mom, you did such a good job i am warm already!"

Tis the season for a new tv and a holiday sleeping pic

 bye bye Daewoo... you served us well for 9+ yrs... but its kind of hard for Cory to watch the game when he can't see the score... or the top of peoples heads...

(lets be honest, we all know i was just annoyed that i couldn't read the top and bottom of my DVR list)

 thank goodness for black friday sales and my favorite store Target..

 look how skinny the screen is.... wait... am i supposed to say "flat"...

yes. i do watch the vampire diaries... i am kind of a geek... but i got sucked in, i can't stop now!

Oh Christmas Trees... 4 actually... is that alot?

 when i told Cory that i wanted these trees from Macy's (they stopped decorating the 3rd and 4th floors so they were selling the extra trees) he was a bit worried because i said"trees" plural and he knows how i like to go over board... who me?

anyway... i got my way and we love them! i think this is the third yr having these... we have a 4th tree in the basement for all the crazy ornaments its decorated pink and and baby blue and fuschia and chartruse... not up yet... SUPER lazy right now.

 just a reminder... this man is 6'4" and he is curled up on the loveseat... for pete sake I can't even comfortably curl up on the loveseat!

its like 4pm and we are all loudly playing in the front yard... didn't fase him... never does. Nap lasted about 5 mins... now you know how quick i have to be to capture these moments, i know, i'm talented.
